I was wanting to design something simple that would be a great piece to layer with. I think this dress is just that.</p> <p>By chance, the eclipse was happening while we were shooting. The cutout is created with two “petals” that intersect at the back neckline. The front bodice is more fitted with side and waist darts and the skirt is cut in a slight aline.  </p> <p>Thank you to <a href="http://badelljewelry.blogspot.com" target="_blank">Allison Badell</a> who created the stunning gold and pearl necklace I’m wearing.
